My Favourite
2003 Orange Evo2
bought it new on finance, i had always wanted an Orange and was mountain biking on an old peugeot which needed constant updating so i thought i would go for something "proper" and fell in love with the bike you see here and i still love it, every time i get on it.
started life like this:
deore groupset, manitou axel elite forks, orange finishing kit
For a while it looked like this:
XT shifters & mechs
Raceface Evolve XC Chainset
Specialized Avatar 143 saddle
XT hubs and Mavic 717 rims
Avid Juicy 7 brakes
Alligator 160mm orange discs
Continental Vertical protection tyres
Hope Headset, seatclamp & skewers
Orange updated oversize finishing kit
It has also looked like this:
Rockshox Reba RL forks
Specialized Stout hubs with DT swiss rims
Avid Juicy 5 brakes
Branch optional !!!!
Onza single speed conversion
Shimano Deore Chainset 34T middle ring only (original)
WTB Rocket V saddel (original)
Deore hubs and sun Rhingle rims for disc and rim brakes
Avid and Shimano V brakes (half original)
Continental Vertical tyres
Ritchey headset, xt skewers
Orange finishing kit (original)
Charge masher orange chain
and a bell :-)
21st century updates: (Mar 2013)
Tool bag has been replaced due to the other one detaching itself at some pint on a lunchtime ride.
Avid Juicy 7 brakes fitted with "Orange" rotor up front
Trek clock now adorning the handlebars
adjusted fit in accordance with bike fit but seat clamp is rubbish and keeps moving...note to self, needs replacing.
